Description
Lion’s Mane Fruiting Blocks – Commercial Grade, KZN Grown
MushLove supplies fully colonised lion’s mane fruiting blocks to commercial growers, small-scale producers and experienced cultivators across South Africa. Each 2.2kg block is prepared in sterilised Unicorn bags using oak hardwood, soy hulls and bran flour substrate, inoculated with our own lion’s mane genetics and colonised under controlled conditions before dispatch. They arrive ready to fruit – no inoculation, no colonisation wait, no guesswork.
These are the same blocks we use in our own commercial lion’s mane production in Assagay, KZN – the substrate formulation, sterilisation process and genetics are optimised specifically for lion’s mane, not adapted from a generic mushroom block formula.
How to Fruit Your Lion’s Mane Fruiting Block
Simply cut the bag, maintain humidity by spraying 2x daily until pinning and let nature do the rest. For best results use a shotgun fruiting chamber or controlled grow tent – ideal for commercial-scale production. Maintain temperatures between 16°C-24°C with good airflow for optimal yields.
